Dept of OBG, Nitte Gajria Hospital, Karkala has an outpatient department that is well ventilated and naturally lit. It has spacious waiting area with seating arrangement outside.
The Department also has in patient facility with general wards, semi special and special wards to suit the need of our ladies.
The hospital is at a picturesque location overviewing Western Ghats with evergreen rainforest around.

This facility is a designated rural training centre of KS Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore for their postgraduate students. They get hands on experience under supervision in pregnancy care, normal delivery, operative delivery, contraceptive service, gynaecological cancer screening especially PAP smears and gynaecological surgeries. This helps them to gain the necessary knowledge and skill with different resource settings in addition to a tertiary facility of typical Medical College.
